Cup and saucer Gaudí

The amazing city of Barcelona, and its gemstone Parc Güell, have one name in common – Antoni Gaudí. This great Catalonian architect is, among other works, the author of the famous fountain – one of the unforgettable artifacts that contribute to the overall design of the park. The body of a reptile, covered in mosaics made by colorful ceramic shards, is widely perceived as one of the Barcelona’s symbols. The luxurious cup with a handle, styled after this reptile, was originally made as an attractive souvenir for the visitors of Barcelona. However, the interest in the product, both home and abroad, was a pleasant surprise. The designer is the academic sculptor Jiří Laštovička.
